Novell directory services require accurate time so that time critical network operations can be carried out accurately.
Novell has built NTP into its latest releases of Netware. From version 5 onwards NTP is a standard feature of the
operating system. This means that a Novell server can synchronise time to a NTP network time resource available on a network.
NTP is available only over TCP/IP. Therefore, TCP/IP networking must be installed on the Netware server.
Netware can synchronise to Galleon Systems range of dedicated NTP time servers with product codes of NTS or NTP time
server software for Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista and Server 2003.
